Are you interested in brushing up on your Youth Forestry Skills for County or Summer Camp, or Club programming? Ever wanted a good excuse to take a group of kids out into the woods and have some fun, while still making it educational? Then come to the 4-H Forestry Training!

Activities:
  • Tree Identification
  • Tree Measurements
  • Map Reading
  • Compass Use/Orienteering
  • Insects
  • Diseases
  • Fun Forestry Facts.

In conjunction with the 4-H Forestry Invitational curriculum (http://www.aces.edu/N4HFI/)


We will provide activity curriculum, game ideas, and fun!
This workshop is geared primarily for adults that will be working with youth. Educators, Assistants, Volunteers, Parents, and Older Youth are all welcome. You do not need prior experience in forestry to attend.

Cost: $15, please bring your lunch.
