Theresa's Program Areas include water resources and waste management, community and workforce development, and family resource management.
In the area of water resources, she can provide information regarding drinking water testing, guidelines for purchasing water treatment equipment, water conservation, and septic system care and maintenance. As for waste management, she deals with recycling, household hazardous waste, source reduction, lead poisoning prevention and indoor air quality issues.
With community and workforce development, Theresa can provide assistance and resource information to potential small business entrepreneurs, especially those contemplating home-based ventures. She can also conduct workforce development programming geared to elementary and middle school students.
In the area of family resource management, she can provide information on basic budgeting (setting up spending and savings plans), how to obtain credit reports, how to use credit wisely and money-saving tips. She also handles general consumer questions dealing with such wide ranging from stain removal to fraud prevention and appliance selection to energy conservation.
