The Friends of Extension Gala will be a fun-filled evening to raise funds to support Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County's educational programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, Nutrition, and 4-H Youth Development.

Custom Designed Quilt Photo

Local quilt-maker Bonnie Ditch has custom-designed a beautiful quilt to be raffled prior to and during the 2007 Friends of Extension Gala. The quilt is full size, 76 x 88 inches. The colors are harvest wheat and beige, with a hunter green border. The quilt features 15-unique squares of exceptionally embroidered herbs.

Raffle tickets are $2.00 per ticket or $5.00 for three. Tickets are available at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County, during the Master Gardener Lilac Festival Plant Sale, and the Cornell Cooperative Extension Foundation Planter Sale at the Rochester Public Market on May 13, 20, 27, and June 3, 2007.

The drawing for the quilt will happen during the June 7th Gala; you do not need to be present to win.
