Download Up to Date Maps of the Skaneateles Lake Watershed

The maps on this page were supplied by the City of Syracuse Department of Water. Maps are formatted to print to a size of either 11" X 17 " or 8.5" X 11".

Land Use Map (584 KB): A map of the watershed divided by land usage (i.e. commercial, forest, residential, etc.).

Watershed Map (2.8 MB): A map showing the geographic area of land that drains water to Skaneateles Lake.

Subwatershed map (1.74 MB): A map dividing the watershed into subwatersheds. A subwatershed is a subdivision of a watershed based on hydrology, generally corresponding to the area drained by a small tributary, as opposed to a major river.

Topographic map (629 KB): A map showing features of the Earth's land surface, including natural features that serve as landmarks.

Watermilfoil map (2.4 MB): A map showing locations of Eurasian watermilfoil, an invasive aquatic plant that grows in the lake.
