Herbal Skincare Workshops: Sherri Reehil-Welser, nationally certified holistic aromatherapist herbalist and licensed skincare therapist will offer a sequence of creative and fun educational herbal skincare workshops. These workshops focus on gaining knowledge of herbs, aromatherapy and botanicals to help create beautiful healthy skincare products for personal use as well as gift giving.
Tuesday, October 28: Creating Therapeutic Herbal Skincare
7:15 pm to 9:00 pm. Class fee: $15.00
Learn how herbs, essential oils and botanicals can create very healing therapeutic natural products. Demo given on making herbal salves and lip balms. Participants take home a sample of each product.
Thursday, November 13: Beautiful Botanical Soaps
7:15 pm to 9:00 pm. Class fee: $10.00
This is the easy version of Soapmaking 101 as we will use a natural glycerin base for the melt and pour hebal soaps. Learn how to create a beautiful handmade bar of soap, rich in botanicals and skin loving oils. Participants create their own soaps and will take home.
Thursday, November 20: Creating Luscious Botanical Creams, Body Butters and Scrubs. 7:15 pm to 9:00 pm. Class fee $20.00
Creating bath and body products rich in botanicals, essential oils and herbs is a very rewarding and fun experience. We will use exotic oils, therapeutic botanicals and essential oils to create a facial scrub cream for participants to take home.
All workshops will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 480 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY.

December 2, 2008, 9:00am to Noon.
Class fee: $25.00 Come join Ann Maruke, Master Gardener and owner of Nana's Garden for a morning making your own Christmas centerpiece wihich is yours to take home when the class is finished. All greens, candles, flowers and floral tray will be provided in the cost of the class. Please bring scissors and sharp clippers. Class is limited to 12.
Boxwood Topiary Workshop:
Saturday, December 6, 9:00 am to Noon.
Class fee: $15.00.
Experience the thrill of creating your own boxwood tree table decoration. Join our Master Gardener, Laima Beck and other Master Gardener helpers as they share their knowledge and creative talents with you. Please bring your own hand pruners. Class limited to 15.
