Our
Work Cornell
Cooperative Extension's Ag Agents support the diverse agricultural
sector of New York's economy. New York has the sixth largest
rural population in the country. Farms occupy more than 28%
of the state's 30.3 million acres. Forests cover 59% of New
York. Many
agricultural products provide economic benefits to local communities
and individuals and their environment. Cornell Cooperative
Extension Ag Agents support this important sector of New York State's
economy and it's efforts to protect our environment.
