Master
Gardener Volunteer Training
Now accepting applications
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County is now accepting
applications for Master Gardener Volunteer training. Training
begins on September 11, 2008. Volunteers are given in-depth training
on a wide variety of horticulture topics. Upon successful completion
of the training program, graduates volunteer 30 hours per year
working on community projects and educating Putnam County residents
about environmentally sound gardening. Candidates must have a
basic knowledge of gardening, a flexible schedule and be Putnam
County residents. Master Gardener volunteers share the knowledge
they have gained with the community. Enrich your life by learning
more and meeting others who share your love of gardening! For
