
Thomas F. Kilcer, Cornell Cooperative Extension Regional Field Crop and Soils Specialist and Program Leader for the Department of Agriculture at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County, New York.
Kilcer has received a Bachelor of Science degree in Fishery from Cornell University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Iowa State University, and an Associates degree in Agronomy from the State University of New York at Cobleskill.
Kilcer has researched at the Cornell Valatie Research Farm located in Valatie, New York for the past three years uncovering the answers to planting, management, and harvesting questions surrounding the brown mid rib sorghum sudan crop.
Many of these questions have never been looked into before in the United States. Kilcer's research is being watched closely by farmers, university professors, and agribusiness men alike across the country.
Kilcer believes that bmr sorghum sudan is a viable corn alternative. Which is why he has dedicated his time to bring out the truths and myths concerning this crop.
