Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockand County

Welcome to Cornell Cooperative Extension!

We are part of a state-wide and nation-wide educational system that enables people to improve their lives and communities through partnerships that put experience and research knowledge to work.

We utilize the research from Cornell and other land grant universities to help individuals, families, non-profits, businesses and municipalities improve their lives and communities through high quality, informal, educational programs designed to address current issues.

In Rockland, we focus specifically on issues affecting the environment and community, youth and family development:
  • Training Youth in Life Skills and Leadership
  • "Eat Smart" Nutrition Education Program
  • Strengthening Rockland's Non-Profit Businesses
  • Environmental Health & Stewardship
We hope you find the answers you need -- whether through this site, by calling us, taking a class or visiting our Education Center in Stony Point.

Sincerely,

Paul Trader
