Hunter Safety Course

All persons buying a hunting license have to show proof of having taken an approved hunting safety program or proof of having been previously licensed.  To fulfill this requirement, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County, in cooperation with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, will be conducting a certification course.

The hunter safety course will be offered in October at Romulus School and Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club.  October 1st and 2nd  the class will meet at Romulus School, Main St., Romulus from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.  On October 4th the class will meet at the Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club, River Road, Waterloo from 8:30 AM to approximately 3:00 PM.  Participants must attend all sessions to receive a certificate.  Pre-registration is required.
