Love horses? Thinking about owning or leasing a horse? Own one or more horses?
The Cornell Cooperative Extension staff at the Suffolk County Farm & Education Center is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a "Small Farms Grant". The decision to designate this grant to service the equine community has been welcomed by many as a unique opportunity to network with one another. This result was based on a determination of needs from the community through your telephone calls, questions and those seeking advice from others.
The "Equine Network" will grow as a community effort with the involvement of all who seek support and information. We invite all horse owners, whether it is families with a backyard pleasure horse, 4-H clubs or anyone wishing to be involved.
