Directions To Cornell Cooperative Extension, Washington County

Offices are on Route 4, between the villages of Hudson Falls and Fort Edward in County Annex Building #1. The Annex Building has a stone front, with cream colored sides. The Route 4 Car Wash is located to the south.

From I-87 heading North:

Exit 17N - - bear right off ramp – onto Route 9.

Go north on Route 9 about 1 mile to traffic light, turn right onto Route 197.

Take Route 197 into Fort Edward (will go over a bridge, there is a red light with a Stewarts Store on left.)

Turn left onto Route 4 North.

Go north through Fort Edward toward Hudson Falls.

Will go past Grand Union, Agway, McDonald’s (on right); past General Electric plant and Washington County Municipal Center (on left); Cemetery will be on right.

Just past the Municipal Center is a traffic light, to the left is the Route 4 Car Wash.

Cornell Cooperative Extension is located in County Annex Building #1, on the left, next to the car wash in the stone front office building.

From I-87 heading South:

Exit 19 - - turn right onto Route 254.

Continue down Route 254, crossing Route 9, after quite a few red lights will have to turn left (still on 254) heading towards Hudson Falls. When you reach the village of Hudson Falls, you will go up a hill and around a curve to the village park.

Route 254 intersects with Route 4 here. There is one way traffic around the park, bear right around the park and you will be heading south on Route 4.

Will come to a red light about 1 mile down, Pizza Hut will be on left corner, gas station on right.

Cornell Cooperative Extension is about ½ mile south of the red light on the left, in County Annex Building #1 – a stone front office building.
