Quality Deer Management (QDM)

Quality deer management (QDM) is a growing interest throughout the country and has a strong potential to assist farmers, landowners, and hunters in Washington County. Utilizing the priciples of QDM, farmers and landowners can reduce the density of deer in their area and hopefully reduce the amount of damage being done to crops, shrubs, and other plantings. Hunters can also benefit from this reduction of deer density with a stronger, more vibrant deer population and greater potential for trophy class deer.
