News Releases : Salem Rifle & Pistol and Owlkill Rod & Gun Announce Range Closures for 4-H Shooting Sports Training News Release Salem Rifle & Pistol and Owlkill Rod & Gun Announce Range Closures for 4-H Shooting Sports TrainingThe 18th Annual 4-H Shooting Sports program is working in partnership with Salem Rifle and Pistol Club and the Owlkill Rod & Gun Club-Eagle Bridge to host their annual training. This is the third year that the program has been taught concurrently in the southern part of the county. The original program continues to be hosted at the Hudson Falls Fish & Game Club in Hudson Falls. The board of both Owlkill Rod & Gun and Salem Rifle & Pistol
have officially requested that we post the dates and times of the program
so that members will know when ranges will be closed. At Salem Rifle &
Pistol, the indoor range will be closed. At Owlkill Rod & Gun, all
ranges will be closed during these times. The dates and locations are
as follows: The Washington County 4-H Shooting Sports program is open to all youth over the age of 12 that have an interest in learning more about firearms and archery safety. The program is $15 for 4-H members in Washington County and $20 for non-4-Hers and out of county residents. To learn more about the event, please call John F.
