Washington County Barn Tour

Step back in time as you enjoy a scenic drive through Washington County, N.Y. on a tour of historic barns hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Washington County on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 10:00am to 5:00 pm.

At each stop, while enjoying the enduring architectural features of each barn, hear some of its history presented by owners and 4-Hers who have worked with them completing surveys as part of the "New York State 4-H Barn Project" and "Make A Difference Day". Each stop will present a unique peek at a time- honored treasure of Washington County's agricultural heritage. Youth who have participated in this project are making a difference in Washington County by learning about our rural heritage and through their interviews and surveys, are preserving a piece of it for future generations of county residents.

For more information, or to reserve tickets, please call Cornell Cooperative Extension, Washington County at 1-800-548-0881.
Tickets for the CCE Fundraiser Barn Tour are $10
