CNY Dairy, Livestock and Fieldcrops Team

Serving Chenango, Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery, and Otsego Counties, Providing high quality and in-depth programming for dairy framers in financial management, field crops and agricultural technologies.

Agriculture and Alternative Agriculture

From dairy to livestock, equine to exotic (emus, llamas, etc.), provides educational services and opportunities by way of workshops, seminars, and farm-visits to address your industry problems.

4-H Youth Development

An experiential, non-formal educational program for today's young people. Opportunities for personal development of life skills available through organized club units, independent enrollment and school enrichment programs.

Community Horticulture and Natural Resources

Covering consumer and commerical horticulture and natural resources workshops and educational opportunities are provided to help fulfill the needs of everyone from the homeowner to the mass producer. Technical assistance and on-site visits are also available.

Eat Smart New York

ESNY is a program, in collaboration with the Department of Social Services, to provide nutrition education to food stamp participants and applicants.

Master Gardener Program

Staff of volunteers is available to answer questions and provide assistance with horticultural dilemmas. Services include specimen identification and problem solving. Workshops and Group Talks available.
