Debt Counseling

Cornell Cooperative Extension's Financial Management Education Program is a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL program. A trained volunteer will work with your family one-on-one in a neutral setting to help you set up and use a budget specific to your situation

The educator can help you gather information on your debts, living expenses and income and help you analyze that information. With an educator you can explore different options for meeting your goals for debt reduction and financial management to meet your personal needs and circumstances. YOU set the goals for what you want to achieve and your educator will help you think about ways to achieve them.

Cornell Cooperative Extension's Program does NOT have funds to pay your bills. We are an educational program, NOT a lending institution.

The program will provide information and educational support tohelp you learn to manage your money instead of letting it manage you!
