Prevention is the key to teaching proper financial habits. Most people wait until they hit a crisis mode before they look for help. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County can help. We offer a "Making Ends Meet" series that can detail some of the trouble spots and what to do about them.There are important documents people should have. Do you know what they are? Check out these free ongoing workshops:

Making Ends Meet
This workshop provides an overview of the process for developing and using a household spending plan. We also explore ways to maximize resources. Participants will receive a free money management kit.

Exploring Credit/Debt Issues
information on selecting and using credit wisely are shared at this workshop. Also strategies for paying down debt, obtaining and reviewing a credit report and understanding a credit score are presented.
