About CCE-Tompkins' Environmental Issues Education
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County is an independent, non-profit association affiliated with New York’s land grant university, Cornell University. CCE-Tompkins' environmental issues programming aims to help:
- Citizens develop understanding,skills and commitment to engage individually and collectively in environmental stewardship and decisions of environmental risk.
- Communities make public decisions around environmental issues informed by sound science and diverse stakeholder values.
CCE-Tompkins offers programs tailored to fulfill local needs and interests on a variety of environmental topics through workshops, consultations, community forums, publications, satellite teleconferences, and volunteer opportunities.
