Parenting Skills Workshop Series
This is a program for parents/caregivers who want to improve the way they talk with their children. The skills of:
* Encouragement
* Can Do
* Choices
* Self-Control
* Respecting Feelings
are explained, discussed and practiced. The workshop helps parents understand how children's behavior is affected by the way parents talk with them. Workshops meet for 8 weeks, with each session lasting 2 hours. This 8-workshop series is offered 6 times each year at locations throughout Tompkins County. The workshops are free, and free childcare often is provided.

Join Mary Hicks and Elizabeth Wolff for this free 8-week Parenting Skills Workshop Series. Share your strengths and learn new strategies. Learn to talk with your children using the five communication skills. Free classes, family meal, and childcare are provided.
