Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County (CCE-Tompkins) is an extension of New York’s land grant university, Cornell University, and exists through the cooperation of three partners: county, state and federal governments. CCE-Tompkins links current research, knowledge and technology to the needs of individuals, families, businesses and communities, providing practical education addressing critical economic, societal, environmental and agricultural issues. Programming is tailored to meet local needs and priorities established through grassroots community input. Program delivery methods include workshops, classes, consultations, publications, satellite teleconferences, and volunteer opportunities.
