Who Are We?
Cornell Cooperative Extension responds to human needs by improving nutrition and health, promoting human development, and securing economic and social well-being for individuals, families and communities. Family and Consumer Sciences staff in Westchester County partner with other local agencies and the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University to make this happen.

What Do We Do?
The Family and Consumer Sciences Program offers educational opportunities and resources designed to help empower individuals and families to improve the quality of their lives, become competent consumers and build healthier communities. Prevention-focused programs address the issues of nutrition and health, food safety, purchasing and preparation, and housing and financial management.
