Healthy Food Decisions - Nutrition, Health, and Food Safety

Prevention oriented and research-based, this priority program issue has three general goals to help Westchester County residents manage food decisions for health:

People will engage in lifestyle changes that promote health. Every child and adult will have access to a safe and adequate food supply. Communities will manage their resources to promote nutrition and health of their citizens.

Information on the following topics is available: food purchasing, food storage, food safety, food preparation skills, and specific nutrient information.
